ABSTRACT
This project is born out of the zeal to make a remarkable contribution in the use of bead, perspex, and embroidery to make a unique rotatory design and traditional attires for interior decoration and in the promotion of human comfortability. Earlier before now, it is very uncommon for people to find the use of beads and embroidery as an accessory for creating wearable fashion attire. However, most people believed that beads can only be used for jewelry, without knowing that it can as well be used for interior decoration. The practical aspect of this project is to create special regard to show the beauty in the end product of bead which serves as a means of interior decoration. This project report consists of five chapters. Chapter One talked about the Introduction, Background of the study, Purpose of the study, Statement of problems, Scope of the study, Significance of the study, Limitation of the study, and definition of terms. Chapter Two dealt with the Literature Review. Chapter Three dwelt on the Methodology and procedure involved in the execution of the project. Chapter Four dealt on the presentation and data analysis of the project. Chapter Five talked about the Conclusion, Summary, Recommendation, Achievement, and Referencing. I believe that if attention is given to this project, it will be of great benefit to both institutions and individuals in understanding the creative image of fashion and its trend, to the current fashion development in the world and in the life of man.

INTRODUCTION
Background of the Study
Fashion as an institution for the expression of oneself and creation of aesthetic, has been of great importance in the promotion of human comfortability in the existence of man and his environment. As an academic field of discipline, it has always been misundertaken by many people who thought it to be all about sewing clothes, while many others view it from the point trying to portray its irrelevances in human development. to this end, it appears very uncommon for people to appreciate and understand the creative image of fashion as an institution of learning which actually means a popular style or practice especially on clothing, footwear, accessories, make-up, body piercing etc. In the creation of fashion accessory, many accessories can be used, which seem to be uncommon and unnoticed by many people. This however, has led us to observe the use of fashion accessories like bead, wool, e.t.c. as a medium to produce a specialized craftwork in order to achieve a desired goal in the world of fashion.
Consequently, bead according to “Oxford Advanced Learners’ Dictionary means a small piece of glass, wood e.t.c. with a hole through it, which can be put on a string with others of the same type and be worn as jewellery.”
According to Lowe, I (2010) a bead is a small, decorative object that is formed in a variety of shapes and sizes of a material such as stone, shell, glass, plastic, wood or pearl that is pierced for threading or stringing. The word “bead” originated from the Anglo Saxon words which are “bidden,” this means to pray and “bede” which means prayer. About 40,000 years ago, beads were said to have been made from pebbles, shells, glass, bronze, teeth, claws, brass e.t.c. Beads may be divided into several types of overlapping categories based on different criteria such as the material from which they are made, the process used in their manufacturing, the place or period of origin, the pattern of their surface, or their original shape.
Types of bead according to the pattern of their surface: Plastic beads, Coral beads, Crystal beads, Sand beads e.t.c. However, it can be understood that bead have been used by many people representing many purposes, which today the uses and the value of bead have been viewed and understood beyond imagination of the common minds of the society round the whole world. In the olden days, beads were used as a medium for the exchange of goods and services. Beads were also used for payment of dowry. The payment of dowry were based on the quality and quantity of beads being offered. Beads were taken as objects of consultation to the gods by the diviners in the olden days. They can be used for the decoration and adornment of the body. They can as well be used for the production of accessories upon which social and cultural attires are being made for certain activities.
Nonetheless, it is discovered of recent that bead can be of great value in the production of interior decorative accessories such as rotatory design. Beads can as well be used for the making of a rotatory design which can be used for interior decoration in our homes, offices, churches e.t.c. The recent research shows that bead has extra ordinary value in every care of the human behavior. The value of bead can never be overlooked just as the bead in the traditional life of the African countries as well as in academic environment as a major, promoting the academic life of Fashion Designing as an academic department.
However, other than the use of bead, there are still other decorative media for creating interior decorative accessories. In fabric designing, embroidery can never be placed behind in the designing of fabric. The design being created on fabric using embroidery medium varies such as animal image, plant image, flowers as well as other decorative images that portray the picture of what is in the mind of the designer in other way round to promote the aesthetic value of fashion.
Embroidery is viewed to mean the handicraft of decorating a fabric by stitching designs with a needle and thread or yarn. But as civilization flourished, people started incorporating other materials like metal strips, pearls, beads and quills e.t.c. in their designs. Initially, embroidery was done by hand, but today, technology has made embroidery work easy due to the invention of machine embroidery. Embroidery can be classified according to whether the design is stitched on top of or through the foundation fabric and by the relationship of stitch placement to the fabric. The fabrics and yarns used in traditional embroidery vary from place to place. Wool, linen and silk have been in use for thousands of years for both fabric and yarn. Today, embroidery thread is manufactured in cotton, rayon and novelty yarns as well as in the traditional wool, linen and silk.
Bead and embroidery have been able to meet the taste of time since fashion keeps changing. Faster and easier method of production has been discovered as a result of modern technology. The value of bead and embroidery can never be over-emphasized in the traditional life of the African countries as well as promoting the academic life of Fashion Designing department as an academic department.
